Soap Seconds--by the Ounce

Seconds are the dented and skinny ugly ducklings of our normally awesome bar soaps, discounted because of the dents, rough edges or substandard size. Due to the varying sizes of the bars  we have elected to sell our "Seconds" by the ounce to make sure everyone gets a fair shake.  Our "Seconds" are sold in an assortment of scents and cannot be segregated.

Love the soap and smells great! My only complaint is that about 1/3 of the seconds were only 1/2" or less thick. I know the order is by weight but I would prefer to have as many "normal" thickness bars as possible. I'm hoping to see the seconds in the newly renovated Elmore store when it reopens this summer.

Thanks for the review! The bars are definitely not the same size as what you were probably used to, but they are the same, great quality that you're used to and the description under the seconds does say that they are not the same size. I gurantee that you were provided more ounces than you ordered.

Concerning the Elmore Store--Unfortunately the new owners of the store have decided not to carry our products, to include seconds...

Fabulous soaps, have been using for years. I use the seconds for myself and gift your nicely linen-packaged ones. First time ordering on line and you folks even called me after seeing you missed a call from me. Thank you. Some of the 2nds are thin, I was used to what I purchased from Elmore General. No worries. You guys have a great product, I will buy on line and purchase locally to support local business. Aaron

Thank you for the wonderful review! FYI concerning the thinness of some of the seconds--around July of this year we elected to charge by the ounce for the seconds bars for our retail customers. This prevents some folks getting hosed if the bars are thinner than others. For our wholesale customers, we take time to sort through the seconds to make sure they're about the same size, since most of themcharge by the piece.

Hopefully the Elmore Store will continue to buy seconds from us once they finish their renovations. Happy New Year,
